Yesterday I met with some friends to hang out and participate in the annual Secret Santa, which was kindly hosted by Sriyan this year. It was pretty cathartic to crack a few jokes and watch certain people get cooked in Rocket League, especially after a sleepless week of final exams. Varun, Hrudy and Arkesh helped make some food for the party that was amazing, and which also reminded me to learn to cook something apart from instant noodles. I was able to add some new songs to my Spotify playlist, but I also learned about some of my friends’ more “interesting” tastes in music. The actual gift swapping was great as well, and I saw gifts like Troyopoly (Monopoly but Troy) and Jujustu Kaisen artwork, but all the gifts were memorable and unique to each person. I myself got a ski mask (and more 😉 ) from Arkesh, while I gave a Weeknd poster to Madhur. Seeing everyone from different parts of the country was cool, and I cannot wait to meet again soon.
